Clara Eitmann Messmer Amphitheatre
Located on Gutenberg Street between Fourth and Fifth streets, the Clara Eitmann Messmer Amphitheatre is an open-air venue that hosts a variety of events.
The amphitheatre was built in 2006, thanks to a generous donation from Clara Messmer, a retired Hermann teacher and music lover.
The theatre features lawn seating only. So bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a show.

Enjoy a vintage drive-in movie setting at Hermann Area Chamber of Commerce’s Movie Night Series, made possible through the generosity of Ms. Messmer, who donated funds for the purchase of a large inflatable screen and a Blu-ray video player, which ties in to the Amphitheatre's state-of-the-art sound system.
Admission is $2 per person. Gates open at 6:45 p.m., the shows start at dark. The concession stand will be open, and restrooms are available.
